Finding Blue Hare

Lingerbay (Lingreabhagh) South-East Harris

Blue Hare is located on a 19-acre croft in Lingerbay on the south-east coast of the Isle of Harris. The cabin stands in an elevated position at the end of a private path, with panoramic views across the Minch to the Isle of Skye and beyond.

Lingerbay is about 40 minutes south of Tarbert (the main ferry port for Harris) and around one hour 20 minutes from Stornoway. The nearest village, Rodel, is a short drive away and home to the historic St Clement's Church.

The location is remote but well connected. You are within easy reach of Harris's famous west coast beaches (Luskentyre, Scarista, Seilebost), local restaurants and all the activities the island has to offer.

Coastal view with green hills, rocky formations, and small houses overlooking the sea. A boat is seen on the water under a clear blue sky.
