Blue Hare is finished to a high standard, offering a modern twist on the traditional bothy. Architect designed and largely self-built, in an elevated position with panoramic views across the Minch to the Isle of Skye, the Cuillin and the distant hills of Assynt.

The open plan interior features a king-size bed, compact kitchen with induction hob and oven, dining area, and a comfortable seating area with a Morso log burner set against slate. Plywood lined walls and ceiling add to the warmth and character.

Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around the living space, framing the landscape like a living painting that changes with every passing hour.

The completely private outdoor bath sits beside the wooden decking with views across the croft to the sea. Brass taps, timber surround, and nothing but sky above. Run a hotbath at sunset and let the world fall away.

Sleep to the Sound of the Sea

The king-size bed is dressed with quality flax linen. A bespoke Harris Tweed curtain frames the bed and bedside lamps cast a warm glow against the plywood walls.

The bathroom features terrazzo tiles, a stone basin, and a rainfall shower with views out to the hillside. Every detail has been considered.
